The Meteor Garden

The Meteor Garden(Starring F4 or Flower four, composed by Ken Zhu, Vaness Wu, Vic Zhou, and Jerry Yan) Started Taping in Taiwan in February, 2001. Two Months Later, on April 12, 2001, Meteor Garden Premiered on Chinese Television System(CTS) in Taiwan.

When Meteor Garden Made its Debut on Some TV Networks across Mainland China in February, 2002, The Series had already Become a Hit throughout Hongkong, Indonesia, Singapore and of course in Taiwan.

The Series was such an Instant Hit among the Mainland Chinese youth that it spawned controversy. By March 8, 2002, Meteor Garden was Banned by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.

The Forced the Communist Censors to step in and Ban the Program, Meteor Garden, Introduced By Harbin television Station, is Prohibited from broadcast because of "its tendency to Mislead teenagers." read the order issued by the state Administration of Radio, Film and Television and Quoted by the Beijing youth Daily in Mid-March, 2002.
